Update on our school garden project

Rev. Wasike sent me this update to post here about our new school garden.

Our garden project started as many project here start, by taking small steps with big hearts and strong wills. Since the plot of land that our temporary school stands on is too small, the planting was done in various places in the area; depending on the free portion of land donated for this season by the Kimilili community.



We managed to plant cassava plant, maize, cow peace, and kale (sukuma wiki). Continue

News about Relocation of CBSM School

I'm writing this blog post for Rev. Wasike and the children of the CBSM school...

Greetings from Kimilili. Over two hundred pupils reported back this January for the start of their new school year. Gabi's Class Wins 2nd Prize!

Gabi's class participated in a Computer World 2008 contest at the university of Luebeck. The contest was for school projects that explore syllabus material with the help of digital media. Gabi's class project was the Our Song Circle and her one project "Where is Mario". The judges particularly like the fact that all of you are participating in Our Song Circle - Wimbo Mviringo.
